Grinder

Grinder & Shop Helper is responsible for a wide variety of production support and performs a variety of general manual labor such as safely operating shop power tools, safely operating overhead crane and forklift, making pallets, picking and filling orders, packing and shipping orders, or managing inventory. 

CORE & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

• Ability to safely use a grinder, chop saw, nail gun, and other various power tools. 

• Ability to make pallets to size for shipment of materials. 

• Ability to safely operate an overhead crane and a forklift. 

• Preparing orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area. 

• Maintaining inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing requests, recording amounts of materials May also assist in counting of physical inventory. 

• Loading and unloading vehicles. 

• Maintaining safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; Sweep, dust and mop. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times. 

• Wearing the proper safety equipment (PPE). 

• Other activities in a helping or assisting mode. 

• Other duties as assigned.

7am-3:30pm. Monday-Friday. $15/hr.
