Scale House Attendant

We are currently looking for a Scalehouse Operator for a metal scrap yard on the west side of Jacksonville. The ideal person will have essential computer experience, excel knowledge, and be able to work in a none climate-controlled area. Responsibilities: - Weight-in customers' vehicles before and after dropping off scrap metal. - Direct customers where to drop off scraps. - Obtain customer information and enter the required information into the computer. - Pay customers with cash or checks as required. - Verify and perform the final count of the money paid out for the day. - Other duties as necessary from time to time. Requirements: - Be able to comfortably use the computer. - Be able to handle different types of customers. - Must be able to work indoors and outdoors as necessary. - Must be able to handle cash and checks. - Must be able to submit and pass a drug screening and background check.
