Shear Operator

We are currently hiring for a shear operator. The ideal person will have a strong work ethic, be dependable, and have strong mechanical ability. Duties: Load rebars into the machine based on proper instructions. Perform basic preventative maintenance and troubleshoot. Cut the rebar to size based on the specification. Perform general cleaning to maintain a clean and safe working environment. Perform other duties around the plant as needed. Schedule: Training will be on the first shift from 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM Upon completion of training, the employee will be moved to the night shift from 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM. Requirements: Ability to work in an industrial environment Able to lift 50 lbs Able to perform physical duties to include, but not limited to lifting, standing for a prolonged period, walking, reaching, bending, and climbing. Be able to successfully pass pre-employment screening to include a criminal background check, drug screening, and physical assessment.
