CNC Mill Machinist

Full Job Description Engineering company that specializes in providing electron beam and laser welding, CNC machining, plus destructive and non-destructive testing services to the automotive, aerospace, biomedical, chemical, defense, and other markets since 1967. We specialize in joining metals: from the standard 1018 carbon and stainless steels to the more exotic aerospace-gradealuminum, titanium, copper, nickel and cob lt alloys. From small-lot prototype development to large volume turnkey production, we are a contract manufacturer that consistently meets customer needs. • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to be independently mobile. • The employee is also required to interact with a computer(s) utilizing company software and communicate with co-workers. • Thorough understanding of the HAAS Control is a plus. • Setup machine, change tools, etc. • Knowledge of GibbsCAM or MasterCam is a plus. • Ability to work with limited direction and supervision. Thorough understanding of GD&T Familiarity with a variety of tooling and fixturing/work holding. Good math skills. Ability to communicate to Quality Department regarding first article and random inspections. Excellent understanding of manufacturing equipment, ability to understand function of equipment, and each of the machines capabilities. Verbal Communication with supervisors and other employees. Functional and Technical Skills regarding, Tooling, Attention to Detail, and proper Judgment • Employment subject to pre-employment and random Alcohol and Drug Screening. • Employment subject to a background check.
