Responsibilities: Maintenance Systems: Implement and manage mechanical and electrical maintenance systems. Oversee modification and improvement projects to enhance plant operations. Resource Management: Allocate mechanical and electrical maintenance resources effectively. Develop and control the maintenance budget to ensure cost-effective operations. Leadership: Provide oversight and leadership to the maintenance team, including mechanical and electrical personnel. Develop a long-term vision and maintenance plan aligned with plant goals. Maintenance Planning: Utilize preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance techniques to maximize productivity and minimize downtime. Review and approve bid documents and technical specifications to ensure compliance with plant guidelines. Project Coordination: Coordinate plant projects and shutdowns with capital projects to ensure timely, high-quality completion while minimizing downtime. Personnel Development: Enhance plant personnel capabilities through training, mentoring, and problem-solving guidance. Foster a motivated and skilled workforce. Technical Expertise: Assess and obtain technical expertise to support production, process, and maintenance departments in optimizing equipment and processes. Reliability Efforts: Lead reliability initiatives to meet plant and company objectives. Manage maintenance on-call programs and provide support for all shifts. Compliance: Ensure compliance with organizational and procedural measures, including Group guidelines, safety regulations, and Collective Bargaining Agreement administration. Health & Safety: Proactively manage and improve employee health and safety performance. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required. Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with strong electrical experience is highly preferred. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of plant electrical and mechanical maintenance experience, with cement plant experience preferred. Demonstrated experience in managing staff in a maintenance function. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance principles, techniques, and technologies. Experience with large rotating heavy industry machinery and equipment. Leadership: Proven ability to lead, manage, and motivate a team. Experience in project management, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making. Communication: Excellent communication skills for coordinating work and completing tasks effectively. Ability to integrate the needs of multiple stakeholders into an overall goal. Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, Project) and familiarity with SAP and CAD software. Experience in conducting financial studies such as IRR and NPV. Contractual Knowledge: Understanding of contractual matters including negotiation and legal aspects, and investment market pricing. Benefits:
