Lounge Attendant

I.K. Hofmann is currently recruiting for a Fine Dining Server / Lounge Attendant for the JFK, NY Airport. This position requires a self-motivated and reliable candidate that is able to work in a professional environment. Fine dining in an airport lounge typically refers to elevated culinary experiences offered to premium travelers—most often in first or business class lounges—designed to rival high-end restaurants.

Job Responsibilities:

• Preparing tables, ensuring cleanliness, and creating a welcoming atmosphere. 
• Memorizing the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and specials. 
• Accurately taking food and beverage orders from guests. 
• Delivering food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner. 
• Offering wine and cocktail recommendations based on guest preferences and food pairings. 
• Promptly addressing guest concerns and ensuring satisfaction. 
• Keeping the dining area clean and organized. 
• Demonstrating impeccable manners and maintaining a positive demeanor.
• Paying close attention to all aspects of the service, from table setting to food presentation. 
• Effectively communicating with guests and other staff members. 
• Efficiently managing multiple tables and tasks. 
• Providing exceptional service and exceeding guest expectations. 
• Working collaboratively with other front-of-house staff to ensure a seamless dining experience. 
• Basic knowledge of mix drink preparations and service

Minimum Essential Functions:

• Must be able to move up to 50lbs

• Must be to communicate with employees and/or supervisors to give instructions and exchange accurate information. 

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the shift.

Climate controlled environment

Shift Hours:
AM Shift and PM shift available

Pay Rate:
$26.29 - $27 an hour
