Description:
This position will be working with the McGuire Maintenance and Engineering departments as a Project Manager/Coordinator for the planning, resourcing, and implementation of small to intermediate size capital projects. These projects will primarily be associated with Electrical Systems, Instrumentation and Control Systems, and Computer Network Systems.
This position is currently listed as 1 year in duration but may extend based on portfolio of projects being pursued.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in one or combination of the following:
-Project Management
-Work Order Planning
-Work Scheduling and Coordination
Working knowledge of project management principles. Working Knowledge to Proficiency in Project Management, Decision Making, Critical Thinking, and Problem Solving; Project related work experience; Risk Management; Project Leadership; Proven Collaborative Team Member.
A working knowledge of electrical and I&C systems, along with print reading and field walkdowns of these systems will be required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with work planning and scheduling tools, including Nuclear Asset Suite and Primavera.
Working knowledge to proficiency in project related Scheduling/ Cost Controls. Experience in utility industry.
The Project Manager I will have relationships with individuals in various organizations ranging from individual contributors to Senior Department Leadership (i.e. individual contributors up to executive management).
