The Project Controls Scheduling and Reporting team under the Project Controls – GO organization is responsible for maintenance and innovation of tools and reporting used by the project controls organization for Nuclear. This position will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing existing reporting tools, developing new analytics capabilities, and supporting project controls systems. The role requires hands-on technical expertise, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and develop advanced Power BI dashboards and reports for project performance and controls.
• Build and manage complex Excel workbooks using Power Pivot, Power Query, and VBA for cost, schedule, and status reporting.
• Administer and support project controls tools, including Primavera P6, WinEst, and SharePoint.
• Perform data extraction and transformation using SQL to support reporting and analytics needs.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and troubleshooting across reporting platforms and tools with limited direction.
• Collaborate with project teams to define reporting needs and translate them into automated, repeatable solutions.
• Identify opportunities to optimize data workflows and improve reporting efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
• 5–10 years of experience in project controls reporting, business analytics, or related field.
• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI report creation and data modeling (DAX).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Power Query, Power Pivot, and VBA scripting.
• Working knowledge of SQL for data querying and transformation.
• Familiarity with project controls tools such as Primavera P6, WinEst, and SharePoint.
• Ability to self-manage, prioritize tasks, and deliver high-quality work under minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior experience supporting project controls functions in nuclear energy, utilities, or similarly regulated industries.
• Understanding of project cost management, scheduling, and earned value principles.
• Experience working in a matrixed organization or across multiple stakeholders.
 • Familiarity with version control and collaborative development environments.
