Qualifications:

HVAC and Refrigeration Technician.

Here’s what you’ll need:

Minimum 3 years of experience in HVAC and Refrigeration maintenance and repair in a facility/plant environment.

Perform Heating, Cooling, Exhaust Fan PMs.

Troubleshoot, repair, maintain all HVAC equipment.

Self-starter, prioritize work orders based on deadlines and equipment issues.

Ability to read & understand system blueprints, specifications, performance data.

Ability to use electrical meter, megger, amp clamps. 480V and below systems. Ability to cut, thread, weld, braze mechanical piping.

Ability to learn all FAC equipment.

Respond to equipment downtime.

Responsible to 5S & COP all areas including desk, worksite, tools, FAC spaces.

Driver’s license

Universal EPA/Refrigerant License.

Experience with the following types of equipment: HVACR, Air Compressors, Pump and Plumbing Maintenance, Basic Electrical and Mechanical Skills are required.


Responsibilities:

As the HVAC and Refrigeration Technician, you’ll join a collaborative team ensuring that our clients can deliver their services – uninterrupted. Based in Greensburg, IN., you’ll you will prioritize repairs and complete required PM’s on facility equipment.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

Performs preventative maintenance tasking on all HVACR equipment.

Starts systems, observes operation, read gauges and instruments, and adjusts mechanisms

Screws, bolts, rivets, welds, and brazes parts to assemble structural and functional components such as motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring harnesses, valves, pumps, compressors, condensers, cores, and pipes.

Discuss system malfunctions with users to isolate problems. Installs wiring to connect components to electric power source.

Lubricates fans, motors, and control units. Replaces defective/worn parts.

Troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains equipment.

Must be able to complete PM and work order activity in CMMS. Following guidance from the client's CMMS and the client's Leadership.

When requested by the client supervisor, prepare reports, whether on equipment failures, accidents, technical reports, and near misses.
