Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities or equivalent combination of education and experience.
HS Diploma or GED equivalent: Vocational Tech, Trades School or Military Occupational Specialty preferred.
Experience with the following: HVAC, Plumbing Maintenance, Basic Electrical and Mechanical Skills required.
Must have experience and abide with OSHA guidelines including Lock-out/Tag-out.
Ability to handle stressful situations and remain calm in the face of the customer and subordinates.
Ability to follow instructions from supervisor or senior maintenance workers.
Knowledge of general carpentry and repair.
Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
Drivers License
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Prolonged periods standing, sitting, walking, and coordination.
Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.
Responsibilities:
Preforms preventive maintenance activities on facility following written instructions. PM activities include measurement of wear, replacement of expendables (i.e. belts, hoses. filters, etc.) and inspection/evaluation of operating characteristics such as pressure, vacuum, or vibration
Completes general building repairs including repair of walls, doors, floors, etc.
Completes repairs to plumbing systems including fixing leaks and stoppages, repairs or replacement of sinks, piping, valves, drains, and toilets.
Repairs and maintains lighting systems throughout the Site.
Inspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repair.
Troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs.
Plans repair work using buildings blueprints or equipment manual as needed.
Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Examples may include repairing drywall, painting, and repairing doors and other building fixtures.
Performs routine maintenance on building systems.
Keeps working area neat. Cleans and assists with upkeep of the facilities.
Orders supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Event set ups, such as tents, tables, and chairs.
Complete safety trainings as they are due.
