Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Valid Florida Class A Commercial Driver’s License and CDL License with Tanker Endorsement.
• Current DOT Medical Card
• Clean Driving History
• 2-3 Years’ experience operating Vac Truck
• All employees must undergo a pre-employment background check and substance screening process prior to being considered for employment.
• Must be comfortable working outside year- round in all types of weather.
• Exposure to varying levels of physical activities
• Standing, crouching, walking, crawling
• Capable of heavy lifting up to 50 pounds or more
• Friendly and professional attitude
• Willing to listen and learn.
• Data entry (Daily logs, tracking information from job sites, issues encountered, etc.)
Responsibilities:
As a Maintenance Vac-Truck Driver, you’ll join a collaborative team ensuring that our clients can deliver their services – uninterrupted. This is accomplished by working with our lift station maintenance team and heavy mechanic teams, proactively cleaning out lift stations, and communicating fluently with customers and management. Other duties include changing and maintaining supplies and inventory; utilizing heavy construction equipment; maintaining equipment; inputting data into work orders; and performing regular vehicle checks, and any other responsibilities as dictated by managerial staff. The successful candidate will have demonstrated an ability to provide excellent customer service, strong communication skills, ability to respond professionally to difficult or stressful situations, and teamwork skills.
