Position Scope:
Responsible for performing assigned warehouse activities for picking, packing, shipping, receiving, reverse and inventory control, while achieving the highest standards of Quality, Productivity and Customer Service levels to automotive retail centers.
***Picking and packing automotive parts in the warehouse; should be comfortable lifting 50lbs and open to operating equipment like stock chasers (stand up tugger); Using handheld RF scanners.
Responsibilities:
Receiving Sorter/ Put-away- remove parts from shipping cartons and check for accuracy, scan parts to WMS with scan gun, sort parts by location in warehouse accurately store and scan parts to locations. operate battery-powered cart
Cycle Counter – accurately count parts in locations and enter information into the scan gun accurately. store and scan parts to locations operate the battery-powered cart
May lift up to 50 lbs.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience:
Previous logistics or distribution experience will be required.
Knowledge of the general warehouse industry, best practices, and techniques.
Knowledge of Quality Management Systems.
Familiar with Warehouse Management System functionality – SAP preferred.
Proficient written and oral communication skills.
Ability to obtain all Dangerous Goods Certifications.
Language: Fluent in English.
