DUTIES
 
Responsibilities include the following (but are not limited to):


  1. Perform annual inspections of all stations/locations, and associated equipment.
  2. Assess equipment and make recommendations for repair or replacement.
  3. Take information obtained through testing and inspections and complete relevant work orders from the Maintenance Connection CMMS program.
  4. May need to use a computer to create lists, spreadsheets, or reports.
  5. Provide asset condition scoring for all equipment.
  6. Make recommendations for future system upgrades.
  7. Assist in the preparation of annual reports that portrays the Asset team’s findings for all equipment.
  8. Aside from annual assessments, Asset team members are also responsible for going to new equipment start-ups to test and assess the new sites, create punch lists, and make recommendations.
  9. At new sites, we collect data nameplate information, take pictures of equipment, and pass this on to the CMMS team so they can create the new assets in the program.
  10. After punch lists are completed, Asset team make a re-assessment of location and ultimately is responsible for the sign-off acceptance of each location and equipment for Jacobs.
  11. Asset team is also responsible to make re-assessments and to sign off on any major repairs or replacements of existing equipment performed by the Maintenance Department or the client.



PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Must possess mobility to work in wastewater treatment plants and related facilities; strength, stamina, and mobility to perform medium to heavy physical work, to work in confined spaces, around machines and to climb and descend ladders, and to operate varied hand and power tools and construction equipment. The job involves fieldwork requiring frequent walking in operational areas. Needs ability to identify problems or hazards. Finger dexterity is needed to access, enter, and retrieve data using a computer keyboard or calculator and to operate above-mentioned tools and equipment. Positions in this classification include: bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb to perform work and inspect work sites. Employees must possess the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects up to 40 pounds and heavier weights with the use of proper equipment.
