Client Title: Benefits Specialist
PAY: USD 25.00-USD 30.00
1st Shift: 35 hours per week
Shift: 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM – Monday-Friday w/ 1 hour lunch
Hybrid 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.
Contract: Assignment is to cover an extended leave-END DATE: 12/31/2025
Holiday Pay:
11 Holidays are observed. You will receive 8 hours of straight time pay for the observed holiday.
PTO (Personal Time Off):
Awarded 1 personal time off day (8 hours) a month on the 1st of each month.
OVERVIEW OF POSITION:
Education
Associate degree and 3 years of experience or 5 years of hands-on experience
This person will need to have good work attendance.
Work Experience:
3 years of Benefits experience required.
Proficient in MS Office with intermediate level
Excel skills: Pivot tables, V-look up, etc.
Detailed-oriented and highly accurate.
Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
Ability to complete tasks in effective ways.
Handling High Volume of emails pertaining to questions about benefits and benefits enrollment.
Handling High Volume of phone calls pertaining to questions about benefits and benefits enrollment.
Primary Responsibilities:
Supporting the Benefits Team:
The candidate will be responsible for creating, planning, and implementing benefits related communications (i.e., Wellness, Healthcare education)
Communicate onsite wellness events/initiatives to employees.
Assist with writing process documents.
QMS (Quality Management System) review and ad hoc benefits requests.
Benefits File Scanning, Restructure electronic files based on guidance from team.
