Description:

This Project Manager position will work in the Natural Gas Business Unit on projects related to field hardware technology or other field-related initiatives as needed by the business. Project Manager I position has single point accountability or can be under general direction of a Project Director or Senior PM. PM-I position is responsible for management, or assisting management, of all phases of project planning and execution to ensure project success factors are met. These include but not limited to scope, schedule, cost, quality, environmental, safety, communications, security, and integration.

The position is accountable for a portfolio of assigned projects with Low to Moderate levels of risk that impact various levels of the Company, Senior Management or External Agencies. PM-I's may be assigned projects with specific risk-informed requirements based on specific experience and skill sets.

PM-I's serve as unifying agents providing leadership, decision making, management, guidance, coordination, and control of overall projects in accordance with established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements of the Company.

Specific responsibilities include:
1. Create / Staff / Lead Project Team
2. Establish and maintain communications among project/programs stakeholders
3. Plan assigned project(s) including scope, schedule, cost, safety, and quality aspects
4. Execute projects according to plans within approved scope, cost and schedule constraints

Required Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 5 years of project management experience
2. Graduation from a two-year college or university
3. Working knowledge of project management principles
4. Working Knowledge to Proficiency in Project Management, Decision Making, Critical Thinking, and Problem Solving
5. Risk Management
6. Proven Collaborative Team Member

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Graduation from a four-year college or university
2. Utility Technical Certifications/Training
3. PMI (PMP or CAPM) Certification
4. CMII certificates
5. Professional Engineer License
6. Working knowledge to proficiency in project related Scheduling/ Cost Controls
7. Experience in utility industry
8. Knowledge in construction management

The Project Manager I may have relationships with individuals in various organizations ranging from individual contributors to Senior Department Leadership (i.e. individual contributors up to executive management).
