The maintenance technician is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing industrial, electrical, and electronic control systems. This position will work closely with multiple personnel in a fast-paced industrial environment, including machine operators and other maintenance employees.
Temp-Perm position. Shift: 6am-4pm, MON-FRI. Potential for OT and must be flexible to work weekends if/when needed.
Payrate: Negotiable, between $20-$35/hr hourly payrate. Interview Process: In-person interview after reviewing resume [if client is interested.] Ideally would like to start a worker 1-2 days after their interview.

Responsibilities:
Prepares and sets up machinery for scheduled production runs.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment breakdowns involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic components.
Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
Perform periodic tests and checks of all electrical equipment.
Tear down equipment, rebuild and replace defective parts and components such as motors, gear boxes, clutches and bearings as needed.
Perform regularly scheduled preventative maintenance tasks as assigned.
Work safely, accurately, quickly, and independently to keep the equipment operating.
Install electrical wiring systems to handle required loads for various machines.
Work closely with production personnel on equipment repairs.
Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
Comply with OSHA Safety and Health rules.
Perform other duties as assigned or needed.
Required Skills:
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Technical training; exposure to processing machinery
2+ years of related experience in machinery troubleshooting and maintenance
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Previous experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Experience in a commercial laundry desirable but not required.
