Master Plumber

We are in search of a Master Plumber who aspires to be a business leader to provide experience and input to make our team even stronger.
Position Description:
The role of the Master Plumber is to be a leader that assists with building a reliable full-service team capable of planning, executing, and finalizing plumbing projects of all sizes. This includes the leadership to develop profitable processes, hire and train the right team, and control the quality to meet code and warranty needs of our clients.

Qualification
• Active Minnesota Master Plumber License
• +5 years of experience troubleshooting residential plumbing systems
• Demonstrated knowledge of proper and safe use of tools and related equipment
• Ability to work a full-time schedule (+40 hours/week) Monday through Friday
• Valid Driver’s license with ability to drive company vehicles, or willing to provide their own vehicle with a vehicle allowance.
Leadership Requirements
• Partner with Master Plumber of Record to ensure that project execution aligns with company quality objectives.
• Building and maintaining customer rapport
• Proper file documentation and communication with invested parties
• Teach and train Estimators and Project Managers on necessarily needs to complete repairs
• Provide expertise and recommendations to clients to support fixture selections
• Build on experience through continued on-the-job and continuing education training for self and team
• Ability to positively motivate others
• Perceived as a strong leader by the staff -- motivate by example
Operational Requirements
• Prepare and overseeing change orders and supplemental charges
• Audit, reflect, and act on quality output provided by contractor teams
• Pre-planning jobs -- materials, labor, etc. to meet expected profitability goals
• Maintaining neat, clean, organized job sites and vehicles
• Organizational abilities -- able to manage multiple, ongoing projects, with an accurate and predictable schedule
• Provide valuable insight for improvements – develop creative solutions to problems
