Key Staffing is hiring on behalf of a well-established oilfield services company looking for a reliable and tech-savvy Parts Counter / Inventory Clerk. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys a blend of customer service, inventory control, and light field work. You'll support the operations team by streamlining inventory tracking and front counter processes.


Parts Counter / Inventory Clerk
Bakersfield, CA | Oilfield Services | Full-Time

Work Schedule: 7 am - 3:30 pm | Monday - Friday + Saturday OT

Pay Rate: $25 Hourly


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist walk-in staff and drivers at the parts counter with inventory needs

  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate inventory records using Excel and SAP 

  • Verify incoming and outgoing trailer inventory with drivers

  • Support purchasing and restocking of frequently used items

  • Help manage inventory reports and order logs

  • Collaborate with the Inventory Manager and assist in transitioning duties from the yard team

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in inventory, warehouse, or parts counter roles preferred

  • Proficiency in basic Excel and general computer skills

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational habits

  • Dependable and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently

  • Comfortable working in and around a warehouse/yard environment

  • Open to candidates from various professional backgrounds—training provided
