Position Summary:
We are hiring a reliable and detail-oriented Contents Technician to join a restoration team in Bakersfield, CA. This position plays a vital role in inventorying, packing, cleaning, and storing personal property following water, fire, or smoke damage. Performance Objectives:
Conduct inventory and documentation of damaged contents at customer sites.
Pack, transport, and unpack items with care to prevent further damage.
Clean, deodorize, and restore salvageable items using industry-standard equipment.
Assist with on-site and off-site cleaning of structures and contents.
Communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure timely progress.
Maintain accurate tracking of contents in internal systems and storage units.
Provide excellent customer service while representing the restoration team with professionalism.
Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE during restoration work.

High attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
Ability to lift, move, and pack heavy objects safely and efficiently.
Empathy and professionalism in customer-facing situations.
Comfortable working in environments affected by smoke, water, and debris.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Requirements:
Education & Experience:
1+ year of experience in general labor, restoration, moving, or warehouse roles preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience working in customer homes or commercial settings is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, lift, bend, and carry up to 50 lbs frequently.
Comfortable working in varied indoor environments, including those affected by damage.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime when needed.
