Job Title: Pellitizer Operator
Location: Fowler, CA
Shift: Rotating Shifts (Must be flexible to work days/nights, weekends, and overtime as needed)
Pay: $17.00/hr
Job Summary:
We are currently hiring a Pelletizer Operator for a manufacturing facility in Fowler, CA. The Pelletizer Operator is responsible for attending extrusion pellet production lines, operating the pelletizer machine, and managing the bagging, labeling, quality checking, and staging of finished products. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and a team player with a strong work ethic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor the pelletizer machine and production line
- Perform all palletizing functions including labeling, weighing, and loading finished products
- Collect and inspect quality control (QC) samples as required
- Weatherproof and move finished products to the designated receiving area
- Maintain clean and organized work area (tour-ready condition)
- Follow safety procedures and plant policies at all times
- Assist in preventative maintenance, including blade cutter servicing and machine wipe downs
- Support team members with their assignments and communicate effectively with the lead or plant manager
- Follow written and verbal instructions accurately
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to work rotating shifts and overtime as needed
- Forklift certified or willing to become certified
- Physically able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 70 lbs throughout the shift
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced, production environment
