Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Materials Coordinator with experience using Famous software to manage inventory, procurement, and distribution processes. This role involves tracking materials, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring efficient workflow to support daily operations. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and experienced in inventory management within the agricultural or manufacturing industry.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize Famous software to manage inventory, procurement, and material distribution.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, tracking material usage and stock levels.
- Work closely with production and warehouse teams to ensure materials are available as needed.
- Assist in scheduling and logistics to support efficient workflow and minimize delays.
- Generate reports on inventory levels, purchasing trends, and material usage.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations regarding inventory management.
- Identify and resolve material shortages or discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams to optimize material handling and storage.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Experience using Famous software for inventory and materials management.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Previous experience in material coordination, inventory management, or a related field.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to anticipate material needs.
- Effective communication skills for working with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework in supply chain or logistics is a plus.
