Mitigation Technician

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Mitigation Technician to play a critical role in our Emergency Response and Pressure Washing Team. As a Lead Technician, you will be responsible for providing expert cleanup and mitigation services to residential and commercial properties affected by water, fire, mold, storm damage, or other disasters.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist and collaborate with crew members on-site to ensure efficient mitigation services.
- Conduct disaster response, emergency mitigation, water extraction, structural drying, and demolition following IICRC standards.
- Set up and remove dehumidifiers, fans, air purifiers, and other necessary equipment at job sites.
- Perform moisture mapping and loss documentation using MICA and other proprietary software.
- Conduct initial loss inspections and assess damage.
- Remove drywall, carpets, insulation, and other materials as part of the demolition and restoration process.
- Participate in the 24-hour emergency call rotation, responding to after-hours and weekend emergency losses per the on-call schedule.
- Operate company vehicles, including trucks, trailers, and other machinery, as needed.
- Rotate into the Pressure Washing Team as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including climbing, working in extreme temperatures, and operating in confined spaces.
- Capability to lift 50 lbs. safely.
- IICRC Certification in WRT and Mold (preferred).
Schedule & Hours:
- Full-Time, Permanent
- Monday to Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (30-minute lunch break)
- Optional overtime available with pre-approval from the Mitigation Manager or as scheduled by the Dispatch and Scheduling Department.
