Position: Quality Specialist
Pay Rate: $29.25 – $39.75 /hourly
Location: Georgetown, TX
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 9:00am - 6:00pm (travel may be required)
Job Description:
The Quality Specialist is responsible for supporting quality assurance and control activities in alignment with Powermatic’s Quality Management System (QMS). This role works under the direction of the Global VP of Quality and plays a key part in internal audits, documentation management, and customer communication.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide direct assurance to customers by supplying QMS information packets and responding to customer Quality System questionnaires
- Support the management of Powermatic’s formal 8D Problem Solving system for internal and external quality issues
- Assist with customer audits, ISO audits, and other external compliance evaluations
- Support the Internal Audit Program and the Critical Tools Program
- Maintain training logs and coordinate annual SOP reviews at the PASA location
- Ensure accurate documentation and follow-up for quality processes
- Complete other quality-related tasks and projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in quality assurance or related role
- Understanding of quality management systems and ISO 9001:2015 standards
- Familiar with wiring diagrams/schematics and principles of metrology
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
- Proven experience with MS Office 365
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, coordinate projects, and maintain documentation standards
- Prior product knowledge or experience in a technical environment preferred
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required
