Production Worker - Testing Technician
Provide a specific statement of the major end results and measurements expected of the job.
The Testing Technician performs final testing on manufactured products prior to shipment to customers. This position requires a reliable person with great attention to detail skills.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:
• Follows written directions on the Work Order and Drawing. Takes verbal instructions from Production supervisors and Engineering staff.
• Sets up the program on the computer as directed on the Work Order, loads parts in the testing wheel and places wheel in chamber. Runs the testing equipment.
• Takes repetitive measurements of performance at various parameters: temperature, voltage, ppm (parts per million), symmetry, TRTF (time rise/time fall), current.
• Adjusts settings as needed.
• Analyses and reports on results.
• Initiates Failure Analysis (FA) Report as needed.
• Other duties include calibration of parts, crystal conditioning, and phase noise testing as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic knowledge of computer software including Excel and/or DOS systems
• Good analytical skills.
• Must be very detail oriented in general. Must have the ability to pay attention to the specific tasks on each Work Order and understand each Drawing. Must perform the steps with a minimal number of errors.
• 1+ Years Electronics manufacturing experience preferred, but will train the right candidate.
