Custodian/Maintenance

Job Title: Custodian I

Summary: We are seeking a reliable Custodian I to ensure our buildings and grounds are safe, clean, and well-maintained. This role involves both cleaning and light maintenance, contributing to a positive learning and working environment. The schedule is dynamic: first or second shifts from September through May, first shift from June through August, and during all breaks.

Qualifications:

• • Knowledge of basic cleaning principles, methods, and supplies.

  • Familiarity with general maintenance tasks (e.g., light bulb changes, filter replacement, basic troubleshooting).

  • Adherence to safe work methods.

  • Valid driver’s license with insurance.

  • Ability to organize tasks and manage time effectively.

  • Strong attention to detail and custodial skills.

  • Proficient with hand tools, buffers, scrubbers, and basic power equipment.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Comfortable with computers and email.

  • Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends.
