Oregon State Fair - NOW HIRING

GLISS Staffing is proud to partner with the Oregon State Fair to hire enthusiastic and reliable individuals for a variety of positions across multiple departments for the 2025 Oregon State Fair. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of one of the largest and most anticipated events of the year. We are hiring employees to fill roles in Agriculture, Box Office, Entertainment, Fair Lift, Fair Mascot, Info Booth, and Parking.

Available Positions:

1. Agriculture Department
   Assist with livestock, produce, and other agricultural displays. Help manage the agricultural exhibits and support fairgoers interested in learning more about Oregon’s agricultural industry.

2. Box Office
   Handle ticket sales and distribution. Provide excellent customer service and assist guests with questions regarding event scheduling and ticketing.

3. Entertainment Department
   Work behind the scenes or assist with live performances, managing crowd control, and providing general event support to make sure everything runs smoothly.

4. Fair Lift
   Help with daily operations of the fairground lift, ensuring fairgoers have a pleasant and enjoyable experience.

5. Fair Mascot
   Bring the fair’s mascot to life by interacting with guests and creating fun photo opportunities. Be the face of the fair for families and visitors!

6. Info Booth
   Provide helpful information and directions to fairgoers. Assist with event schedules, booth locations, and general inquiries.

7. Parking
   Assist with parking lot management, guiding vehicles, and ensuring a smooth flow of traffic on and around the fairgrounds.

Eligibility:

• Applicants must be at least 16 years old to apply for minor-approved departments.

• Applicants must be 18 years old or older to apply for other departments.

Event Timeline:

• Job Fair: August 2, 2025 – Come meet with GLISS Staffing and learn about the available positions in person!

• Orientation: August 16, 2025 – All hired candidates will attend an orientation session to prepare for the fair.

• Oregon State Fair Duration: August 22, 2025 – September 1, 2025. Employees must be available for the entire duration of the fair, with shifts based on position.
