We are currently seeking a Multivac Lead II to support production operations in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment in Tracy, CA. This position is responsible for overseeing manufacturing activities, guiding a team, and ensuring that production goals are met efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, a strong communicator, and capable of balancing hands-on production work with administrative responsibilities.

Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
- Production Line Efficiency: Oversee line operation, ensuring quality, productivity, and resource use. Set up the line for order execution and assign tasks based on team and production needs.
- Leadership & Communication: Provide clear direction, motivate team members, and foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive work environment.
- Administrative Duties: Complete production paperwork, update records, document downtime, and report issues to the Production Supervisor.
- Quality & Compliance: Conduct product inspections, enforce GMP and safety protocols, and ensure product conformance to specifications.
- Training & Development: Create and implement SOPs. Train team members to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Equipment Maintenance: Monitor and troubleshoot machinery to minimize downtime and maintain smooth operations.
- Safety Oversight: Enforce safety procedures, report work-related injuries, and proactively address potential hazards.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Coordinate with other department leads, assist with cross-training, and support overall production flow.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in food processing
- Familiarity with Multivac packaging machines
- Previous leadership experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of meat processing experience
- USDA trained
- HACCP certified; advanced knowledge of GMPs
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
Physical Requirements:
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Use pallet jacks, lift/move up to 50 lbs
- Perform repetitive motions, including overhead reaching
- Walk on wet and uneven surfaces
- Occasional stooping, bending, kneeling, climbing, or pulling
- Visual ability for close and distance work
Work Environment:
- Cold, refrigerated production area (30–50°F)
- Moderate to loud noise levels
