Job Summary: As a Forklift Operator at our Livingston location, you'll play a crucial role in our operations during the harvest season. You'll be responsible for safely operating a sit-down forklift to move, stack, and transport bins, pallets, and products within our fast-paced environment. Attention to detail, flexibility for overtime and weekend work, and adherence to safety protocols are essential for this role.

Location: Livingston, CA

Schedule: Ability to work flexible schedules, overtime, and weekends during harvest season is required

Pay Rate: $23/HR

Benefits: Medical, Dental, AD&D

Position Requirements:

• Two (2) years previous forklift experience in sit-down forklifts, including high stacking bins.
• Previous work experience in a fast-paced environment is required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, is required. Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
• Self-motivated with attention to detail.
• Previous knowledge of food processing plant programs and regulations preferred.

Duties:

• Locate, pull, and transport full or empty bins, pallets of finished product, packaging supplies, and/or equipment to specified areas.
• Perform daily forklift checks on assigned forklift(s).
• Transport raw and processed product to production workstations.
• Maintain and update records of inventory and activity logs.
• Use inventory scanners to log product in and out of warehouses.
• Pick orders from inventory using a pick sheet.
• Shrink wrap pallets to prepare them for shipping.
• Follow all company safety, hygiene, and work rules.
• Complete certified forklift safety training as required.
• Maintain the company's commitment to providing quality products and services with an emphasis on Food Safety, legality, and integrity.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
