Accounting/Inventory Clerk

We are seeking a dedicated Accounting/Inventory Clerk to join our team at our Pistachio site in Lost Hills, CA. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining accurate financial records and managing inventory operations efficiently!

Pay Rate: $21.15 per hour

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounting activities, including accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy in financial transactions and inventory counts.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies in billing and inventory levels.
• Utilize accounting software to maintain financial records and generate reports for management review.
• Assist in inventory control processes, including cycle counts and stock adjustments.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to accounting and inventory management.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes as required.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in accounting and inventory management preferred.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is a plus.
