Job Title: General Laborer – Pistachio Processing Facility

Pay Rate: $16.50/hr.

Shift: 1st and 2nd

Benefits: Medical, Dental, AD&D

Job Summary:

We are seeking dependable and hardworking General Laborers to support daily operations at our pistachio processing facility. This role involves assisting with various tasks including cleaning, sorting, equipment support, and maintaining safe and efficient work areas, especially during the busy harvest season.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the sorting, cleaning, and handling of pistachios throughout the production process.
• Perform general yard and facility cleanup, including sweeping, washing, and debris removal.
• Support machine operators and supervisors with tasks such as feeding hoppers, monitoring conveyors, or stacking product.
• Remove foreign material or defective nuts during manual inspection as needed.
• Assist with sanitation tasks including cleaning equipment, belts, hoppers, and floors according to food safety protocols.
• Help direct trucks and trailers for loading/unloading during harvest.
• Follow all safety and GMP regulations, including the use of required PPE.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or leads.

Qualifications:

• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Ability to work in outdoor or indoor environments, including dusty, hot, or noisy conditions.
• Physically able to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Willing to work long shifts, weekends, and holidays during peak season.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.

Preferred Experience:

• Prior work in agriculture, nut processing, or food manufacturing is a plus.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) helpful but not required.
