Job Title: Seasonal Staffing Coordinator

Pay Rate: $20/hr.

Schedule: Monday- Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM (overtime and weekends may be required)

Requirements:

  • Valid Driver's License
  • Fluently Bilingual in English and Spanish


Job Purpose: The Staffing Coordinator achieves staffing objectives by recruiting, screening, evaluating, and onboarding qualified candidates for specific job roles based on client requirements.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Consult with client hiring managers to understand their staffing needs thoroughly.
  • Develop creative sourcing strategies using online social networking, job boards, community involvement, professional networking, and local media.
  • Recruit, onboard, train, oversee, and retain top talent in the market.
  • Conduct behavioral interviews and competency-based evaluations to assess candidates.
  • Build a network of ready-to-work candidates to meet current and future client needs.
  • Facilitate candidate interviews with clients, including preparation and debrief sessions.
  • Develop long-term relationships with temporary employees, providing career coaching and necessary disciplinary actions.
  • Conduct Quality Control calls with clients and new employees after their first day to gather feedback and ensure successful placements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of employee interactions via Tempworks software and other systems.
  • Immediately escalate employee relations concerns to Branch Manager and HR.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures among employees.
  • Coordinate with Branch Manager for new employee check-ins, safety walks, and client meetings.
  • Support implementation of safety programs led by the Safety Director.
  • Serve as a resource to employees for general benefit questions and assist with open enrollment.
  • Track compliance throughout the onboarding process and ensure accurate employee pay.
  • Administer exit interviews, analyze findings, and recommend process improvements.
  • Conduct new employee orientations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Preferred: One year of experience in the staffing industry.
  • Preferred: Bilingual in Spanish and English.
  • Proficient problem-solving, organizational, interpersonal, and motivational skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Google products.
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Adaptability to learn new software and navigate the internet efficiently.
  • Team player mentality with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Recognize situations requiring support from upper management.
