Job Title: Accounting Clerk
Pay Rate: $25-26/hr.
Shift: Monday – Friday 8AM-5PM

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized AP/AR Administrative Clerk to join our team. This role will handle general administrative tasks, accounts payable (AP), and accounts receivable (AR) functions. The ideal candidate will be proficient in QuickBooks Desktop, Gmail, and Google Suite, with strong communication and time-management skills to support efficient financial and administrative operations.
Key Responsibilities:
? Accounts Payable (AP): Process vendor invoices, ensure accurate coding, and schedule payments in QuickBooks Desktop. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
? Accounts Receivable (AR): Generate and send invoices, track payments, and follow up on overdue accounts. Record customer payments in QuickBooks Desktop.
? General Administrative Tasks: Manage email correspondence via Gmail, maintain organized digital files in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive), and assist with scheduling or other clerical duties as needed.
? Data Entry & Reporting: Input financial transactions into QuickBooks Desktop, ensure data accuracy, and prepare basic financial reports as requested.
? Communication: Liaise with vendors, clients, and internal teams to resolve inquiries related to AP/AR processes.
Qualifications:
? High school diploma or equivalent
? 1-2 years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or general administrative roles.
? Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop, Gmail, and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive).
? Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial processing.
? Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
? Effective written and verbal communication skills.
? Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
Preferred Skills:
? Basic understanding of accounting principles.
? Experience with reconciling accounts and managing payment schedules.
? Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
