Overview:

Bethlehem, PA: Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a skilled
Lathe Machinist to perform finish machining practices including turning, boring, drilling, and threading operations while maintaining close tolerances on a variety of components. The ideal candidate will be fluent with Fanuc controls, able to read and interpret drawings, understand G-Code, and ensure compliance with all specifications and quality requirements.

Essential Duties:
• Perform lathe machining, including turning, boring, drilling, and threading.
• Operate and monitor machines using Fanuc controls.
• Read and interpret blueprints, G-Code, and work instructions.
• Use precision measuring tools (micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, etc.) to verify tolerances.
• Adjust feeds, maintain proper temperatures, and identify issues during machining.
• Maintain serviceable hand tools and basic measuring equipment.
• Operate lifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Comply with company safety policies and maintain a safe working environment.
• Perform other machining-related tasks as required.

Requirements/Skills:
• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate Degree in Machine Trades preferred.
• Must be able to read and understand blueprints and G-Code.
• Familiarity with machining practices including turning, milling, drilling, and threading.
• Ability to hold tolerances per industry standards and job requirements.
• Proficiency with precision measuring devices and their calibration.
• Ability to follow drawings and instructions to produce usable and saleable parts.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Must provide basic tools required for the role.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or holidays as required.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen, background check, and physical.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., walk, climb, kneel, crawl, balance, and reach overhead.
• Must be able to use hands for machining, assembly, and tool handling.
• Must not have allergies or issues with handling metals including aluminum, copper, bronze, and steel.
• Ability to work around propane/acetylene torches and moving mechanical parts.
• Tolerance for moderate noise and exposure to metal particles.
