Shop Hand
Overview:
New Iberia, Louisiana: Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Shop Hand to support operations with general labor, light deliveries, and mechanical support. The ideal candidate will be dependable, self-motivated, and mechanically inclined.
Essential Duties:
• Perform general shop labor tasks
• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently
• Disconnect hoses from pumps and clean hoses and pumps
• Make light deliveries using a pickup truck as needed
• Complete assigned tasks independently and in a timely manner
Requirements/Skills:
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Forklift operation experience
• Mechanically inclined with basic tool knowledge
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
• Ability to complete tasks on time and without constant supervision
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and materials as needed
• Use of PPE including steel-toe boots, safety glasses, hard hat, and gloves
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and outdoors as required
Schedule & Pay:
• Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• 40 hours per week
• Pay: $16–$18 per hour, depending on experience and work performance
