New Iberia, LA: Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Yard Supervisor / Shipping & Receiving Supervisor.
Essential Duties:
• Supervise daily yard operations while actively working alongside the crew
• Check in oilfield tubulars and related products, ensuring accuracy and quality
• Manage inventory control, documentation, and computerized tracking systems
• Oversee and perform shipping and receiving functions
• Operate large industrial forklifts to load, unload, and move oilfield pipe up to 30 feet in length
• Ensure safe handling, storage, and transportation of large and heavy materials
• Coordinate workflow, prioritize tasks, and maintain productivity based on workload demands
• Enforce safety procedures and company policies within the yard
Requirements/Skills:
• Prior experience in oilfield tubulars, rental companies, or oilfield product environments
• Proven supervisory experience in a yard, warehouse, or shipping/receiving operation
• Strong knowledge of oilfield products and materials
• Advanced experience operating large industrial forklifts (small warehouse forklift experience is not sufficient)
• Computer savvy with the ability to complete paperwork, reports, and inventory documentation
• Ability to work long hours, including approximately 60 hours per week, with schedules varying by workload
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Capable of standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout a 12-hour shift
• Ability to safely operate and mount/dismount large forklifts
• Must be able to handle and move large, heavy materials with the use of equipment
