Forklift Mechanic/Maintenance Specialist

Overview:

Houston, TX (77015): Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a a skilled Forklift Mechanic & Maintenance Specialist with strong industrial equipment experience and bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish preferred). This position is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy industrial forklifts, as well as performing a wide range of facility and equipment maintenance tasks.

Essential Duties:

• Diagnose and repair diesel, propane, and electric forklifts

• Perform hydraulic and electrical system repairs (up to 575 VAC)

• Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment and machinery

• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using testing tools and manuals

• Maintain spare parts inventory and order necessary supplies

• Follow LOTO procedures and adhere to all safety protocols

• Supervise and guide maintenance helpers when needed

• Be available for on-call emergency maintenance support

Requirements/Skills:

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• Electrical experience at journeyman level or equivalent

• Must have experience with high voltage systems

• Strong mechanical, troubleshooting, and diagnostic skills

• Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred

• Must be reliable, dependable, and safety-conscious

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in various physical positions
