New Orleans, LA: Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a skilled and reliable Driller to work at various construction sites in the Metairie and New Orleans area. The Driller will be responsible for operating drilling equipment to extract samples of cement, dirt, and other materials for testing. This position requires experience in construction, strong attention to safety protocols, and the ability to work in varying outdoor conditions.

Essential Duties:

• Operate drilling equipment to extract soil, concrete, and other materials for testing and analysis. 

• Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a secure work environment. 

• Transport drilling equipment and tools to and from various job sites. 

• Maintain and inspect drilling machinery, tools, and equipment to ensure proper functionality. 

• Document and report findings from drilled samples to appropriate personnel. 

• Work collaboratively with site supervisors, engineers, and other team members. 

• Perform additional labor duties as required at job sites.

Requirements/skills: 

• Previous experience in construction or drilling operations. 

• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. 

• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. 

• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. 

• Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 50 lbs). 

• Strong work ethic and ability to follow safety protocols.

Physical Requirements: 

• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull heavy materials (typically 50+ lbs).

• Stamina to stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, and climb for extended periods.

• Ability to work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and rain.

Education:  

• High school diploma or equivalent
