Shop Hand - Grinding Department

Houston, TX: Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Shop Hand – Grinding Department to join a dynamic manufacturing team. This position is ideal for candidates with strong hands-on experience in grinding and material handling, looking to work in a high-paced environment with significant overtime opportunities.

Essential Duties:

• Perform grinding work using a handheld grinder to create clean 90-degree angles.
• Support general shop operations and assist team members as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company policies.
• Operate a forklift to move materials and finished parts around the shop.
• Work extended hours and weekends as required to meet production needs.

Requirements/Skills:

• Ability to grind precise 90-degree angles using a handheld grinder.
• Forklift operation experience required.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work 60+ hours per week, including overtime.
• Must be dependable and able to follow instructions accurately.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for long periods of time in a production/shop environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks involving manual dexterity.
• Tolerance to noise, dust, and physical labor typical of a grinding and manufacturing environment.
