Overview:
Kenner, LA: Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Project Manager for an Applications Engineering department. This role is focused on coordinating projects that support commercial laundry systems, including pre- and post-sale technical deliverables.
Essential Duties:
• Coordinate communication between customers, internal sales teams, and dealers
• Develop equipment layouts in 2D and 3D using Autodesk (CAD) software
• Calculate appropriate equipment sizing using Microsoft Excel
• Create budget and detailed quotations using Excel and Word
• Generate detailed Installation Drawings, including Locating, Mechanical, and Electrical schematics
• Respond to customer and internal team inquiries pre- and post-sale via Outlook
• Collaborate with Product Design Engineers on new or modified hardware/software
• Prepare savings analyses for ROI and payback periods using Excel
• Deliver written and verbal project presentations using Word and PowerPoint
Requirements/Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technology, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Associate Degree in Design Drafting (current seniors nearing graduation will be considered)
• Proficiency in mechanical drawing/design work, with strong AutoCAD (2D and 3D) skills
• High mechanical aptitude and ability to explain technical concepts clearly
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to interface directly with customers in a commercial setting
Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to work in an office setting and at industrial sites as needed
• Ability to travel by air and ground, including international travel
• Occasional lifting and handling of technical documents or light equipment may be required
