Daphne, AL: Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a temporary Secretary II to perform a variety of administrative, clerical, and secretarial duties in support of departmental operations. This position involves confidential tasks and interaction with various levels of management, requiring strong communication and organizational skills. The Secretary II may work with minimal supervision and will play a key role in maintaining efficient office operations.

 

Essential Duties:
• Perform confidential clerical duties including data entry, report preparation, drafting correspondence, and meeting documentation
• Maintain accurate and current filing systems for availability and retrieval of records
• Provide front-line customer service, including receiving visitors, answering inquiries, and routing calls and guests appropriately
• Coordinate administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, appointments, conferences, and travel arrangements
• Assist with special projects and contribute to the achievement of departmental objectives
• May act as a resource or provide guidance to other administrative staff as needed

 

Requirements/Skills:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong keyboarding skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.) and other relevant office software
• Ability to make decisions and take initiative within established guidelines and procedures
• Demonstrated professionalism and ability to handle confidential information
• Proven organizational and leadership skills preferred

 

Physical Requirements:
• Work performed in an office environment
• Ability to sit and use a computer for extended periods
• May occasionally lift up to 25 lbs
• Must be able to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced setting
