(Mobile, LA): Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking an Information Technology Support Analyst to support a wide range of IT functions, including desktop support, infrastructure, networking, systems administration, and user support. The ideal candidate will be proactive, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities across various IT platforms.

 

Essential Duties:
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
• Maintain and upgrade Windows and Linux server and desktop operating systems and applications
• Perform diagnostics and resolve software and hardware issues
• Develop and maintain intranet, internet, and e-commerce websites
• Support SQL, Exchange, and other enterprise-level applications
• Assist with patch management and software deployment
• Analyze IT infrastructure for growth, asset obsolescence, and optimization
• Troubleshoot LAN/WAN, VPN, and wireless connectivity issues
• Support virtual desktop environments and remote access tools
• Enforce IT security policies and procedures
• Assist with antivirus and endpoint protection
• Manage user accounts and permissions (Active Directory and cloud/on-premise systems)
• Participate in device setup and access provisioning for onboarding/offboarding
• Support and monitor data backup and disaster recovery systems
• Conduct in-person, phone, and remote helpdesk support for end-users
• Create and maintain documentation, user guides, and training materials
• Educate users on best practices and assist in IT training sessions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure and application projects
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and recommend improvements
• May supervise vendors or junior team members involved in project execution

 

Requirements/Skills:
• Associate degree in Computer Science or related field; or equivalent work experience
• 4–8 years of related IT experience preferred
• Proficient in diagnosing and resolving complex IT issues
• Experience with SQL, HTML, C#, VB .Net, ERP, and CRM systems
• Solid understanding of network protocols, hardware, cabling, and barcoding systems
• Basic web development experience is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
• Project management skills and ability to lead IT initiatives
• Ability to work independently or in team settings
• High attention to detail and strong customer service orientation

 

Physical Requirements:
• Regularly required to sit, use hands, and communicate effectively
• Frequently required to stand, walk, kneel, stoop, or crawl
• Must regularly lift/move up to 25 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs
• Visual requirements include close, distance, and focus adjustment
• May be exposed to unfavorable climate conditions and mechanical parts
• Occasionally exposed to fumes, airborne particles, electrical risks, and vibration
• Work environment may be quiet or loud, depending on location
