New Orleans, LA: Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking an HVAC Testing, Adjusting & Balancing (TAB) Technician to join our client’s team in the Greater New Orleans area. This is a great opportunity for a motivated and career-minded technician to work under the supervision of a NEBB Certified Professional and grow within the HVAC industry.
Essential Duties:
• Perform HVAC Testing, Adjusting and Balancing activities according to project specifications and NEBB standards.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and equipment data to ensure proper balancing techniques.
• Support Project Managers and HVAC Services Technicians with TAB-related issues.
• Document field conditions for new and existing systems accurately.
• Properly use and maintain specialized test equipment.
• Comply with all company, jobsite, and OSHA safety policies and procedures.
• Be flexible to work occasional overtime, weekends, off-hours, or travel as needed to meet project schedules.
Requirements/Skills:
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in HVAC Testing, Adjusting and Balancing.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong computer literacy with Microsoft Office and Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background checks for facility access.
• Strong work ethic, professionalism, and commitment to safety.
• Must have US work authorization.
Physical Requirements:
• Must be physically able and willing to perform site inspections and field work, including lifting, climbing, and using specialized test equipment as needed.
• Ability to recognize hazards and take corrective action promptly.
• Willingness and ability to learn and master new skills and concepts.
