(Harvey, LA): Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Warehouse & Customer Service Associate for a full-time, non-exempt position in the Facility Operations department. This is a dual-role opportunity for a highly motivated individual to support both warehouse logistics and front-line customer service operations in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.

 

 

Essential Duties:

Warehouse Responsibilities:
• Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials, tools, and products.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping or internal use, ensuring accuracy and proper labeling.
• Organize inventory according to product codes, size, or type.
• Maintain inventory accuracy using computerized systems.
• Perform routine physical and cycle inventory counts.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant warehouse environment.
• Open, verify, and document materials received in crates or pallets.

Customer Service Responsibilities:
• Assist customers in person, over the phone, and by email with inquiries, orders, and product information.
• Prepare quotes, enter sales orders, and confirm delivery timelines.
• Track inventory availability and provide estimated delivery schedules.
• Resolve order discrepancies and delivery issues promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate with sales representatives to support account activity.
• Maintain accurate customer and sales records in internal systems.

 

 

Requirements/Skills:

• High school diploma or GED required; some college or vocational training preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in warehouse operations and/or customer service.
• Proficiency with inventory/order software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective problem-solving and time management abilities.
• Ability to multitask and transition between warehouse and customer service tasks.
• Detail-oriented and adaptable to changing work environments.
• Familiarity with order processing systems and customer-facing communications.

 

 

Physical Requirements:

• Regularly required to stand, walk, lift, and reach with hands and arms.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly, and up to 100 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to operate warehouse tools and equipment safely.
• Vision requirements include color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Work is performed in a combination of warehouse and customer-facing settings.
• Exposure to mechanical equipment and occasional outdoor conditions; moderate noise level.
• Personal protective equipment (PPE) provided and must be used as required.
