Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor
New Orleans, LA: Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Supervisor to oversee outbound operations, ensuring timely, accurate, and efficient shipment of products. This role is responsible for supervising the outbound team, maintaining quality control, coordinating with carriers, and meeting shipping deadlines in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Requirements/Skills:
- Supervise daily outbound warehouse activities, including picking, packing, staging, and shipping.
- Ensure all outbound shipments are processed accurately and on time.
- Coordinate with logistics providers and carriers for on-time pickups and deliveries.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with company safety standards and procedures.
- Lead and develop outbound team members through coaching, training, and performance evaluations.
- Track and report key metrics such as shipping accuracy, order turnaround times, and labor productivity.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
- Collaborate with inventory control, customer service, and warehouse leadership to resolve order issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2+ years of warehouse or logistics experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of outbound shipping procedures and inventory systems.
- Experience with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and handheld scanners.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed.
- Forklift certification a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in varying warehouse conditions (e.g., temperature, noise levels).
