Overview:
Baton Rouge, LA: Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking an IT Manager responsible for overseeing daily IT operations and supervising the technical support team to ensure reliable system performance across the organization. This role supports company-wide platforms including Microsoft 365, Power BI, Vista by Viewpoint, HCSS software, and other enterprise systems. The IT Manager ensures end-user satisfaction, maintains infrastructure uptime, and drives ongoing IT initiatives aligned with business goals.

Essential Duties:
• Lead and supervise IT support staff, assigning tickets and ensuring timely resolution of user issues
• Support and maintain core platforms, including:
o Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams)
o Power BI dashboards and reporting tools
o Vista by Viewpoint for accounting and project management
o HCSS Heavy Job, HCSS Safety, and related field solutions
o Other ERP and construction technology systems
• Ensure the reliability and performance of desktop/laptop environments, mobile devices, printers, network equipment, and telephony
• Provide Tier 2/3 support and escalate complex issues to vendors or senior IT leadership as needed
• Maintain secure user access and role-based permissions across systems (Active Directory, ERP, and applications)
• Participate in onboarding and rollout of new hardware/software systems
• Monitor network connectivity and server health, coordinating maintenance as necessary
• Document IT procedures, SOPs, asset inventory, and resolution steps
• Provide training and ongoing support to end-users across departments
• Maintain compliance with IT policies, cybersecurity standards, and data privacy requirements
• Support backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans
• Provide after-hours support as needed for system maintenance or urgent issues

Requirements/Skills:
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3–5 years of IT experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or lead role
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 administration and desktop support
• Experience supporting Power BI, Vista by Viewpoint, HCSS, and ERP systems
• Working knowledge of Active Directory, group policies, basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and security protocols
• Familiarity with remote desktop, MFA, VPN, and mobile device management tools
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Strong customer service focus with the ability to support both office and field personnel
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, or similar preferred
• Experience in construction or industrial environments supporting field operations
• Familiarity with remote office/site IT support, mobile data collection, or jobsite connectivity solutions

Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks such as connecting IT hardware
• May require occasional travel to job sites or remote office locations
• Ability to work extended hours as needed for maintenance or emergency support
