Job Title: Commercial Electrical Journeyman

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Electrical Journeyman to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings. The ideal candidate will have experience reading blueprints, adhering to electrical codes, and working independently or as part of a team on large-scale construction and renovation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and components in commercial settings

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical diagrams

• Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes

• Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems

• Supervise and guide apprentices or helpers on job sites

• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used

• Follow all safety procedures and protocols on job sites

• Able to bend EMT 1/2 to 1 inch 
• Able to obtain Osha 10 

Qualifications:

• Valid journeyman electrician license (state-specific)

• 4+ years of commercial electrical experience

• Strong understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and building codes

• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively

• Good physical condition and ability to lift 50+ pounds

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Work Environment:

• Commercial construction sites (indoor/outdoor)

• Use of ladders, lifts, and PPE

• Variable weather and physical demands
