Vice President of Finance
Overview:
Baton Rouge, LA
Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President of Finance to lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A) initiatives and enhance financial performance across the organization. As a vital member of the executive leadership team, this individual will guide budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and provide analytical support to drive business decisions. This is a full-time, on-site position reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Finance.
Essential Duties:
• Lead and manage the company’s FP&A function, ensuring timely and accurate budgeting, forecasting, and variance reporting.
• Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Build and maintain financial models to support business planning, pricing strategies, and resource allocation.
• Oversee financial reporting and ensure clarity on performance drivers and risk areas.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Product.
• Drive development of annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-term strategic plans.
• Monitor KPIs and financial metrics to evaluate and improve business performance.
• Support M&A due diligence and integration planning activities.
• Improve financial systems, tools, and processes for efficiency and scalability.
• Mentor and develop finance team members, fostering high performance and professional growth
Requirements/Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required; MBA or CPA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive finance experience, including 5+ years in a leadership FP&A role.
• Proven success in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.
• Experience in high-growth or complex environments (e.g., SaaS, healthcare, manufacturing).
• Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in Excel; knowledge of FP&A tools such as Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, Workday Adaptive, or Planful.
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Must provide two valid forms of ID, including a driver’s license.
• Must pass a drug screen and background check.
Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and via phone/video conferencing.
• Occasional travel may be required.
