Overview:

Metairie, LA: Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking an Accounting Clerk to support the finance department with basic accounting and clerical tasks.

Essential Duties:
• Enter and process invoices, payments, and expense reports
• Reconcile bank statements and company accounts
• Maintain accurate financial records and organized files
• Assist with payroll and data entry
• Prepare and update financial reports as needed
• Respond to vendor and customer inquiries
• Support the accounting team with administrative tasks

Requirements/Skills:
• Basic understanding of accounting principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to sit for extended periods while using a computer
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally
• Regular use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and copiers
