Foreman

New Orleans, LA: Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking an Electrical Commercial Supervisor to oversee commercial electrical projects from start to finish. This role involves managing teams of electricians, ensuring that all work is performed safely, meets quality standards, and is completed on time and within budget.

 Essential Duties:

• Coordinate and manage commercial electrical installations and upgrades.

• Plan daily tasks and workflow in line with project schedules and deadlines.

• Ensure project milestones are met and that changes are communicated and addressed promptly.

• Supervise and mentor electricians and apprentices on-site.

• Assign duties and monitor progress, providing direction and support as needed.

• Promote teamwork and maintain discipline and productivity among the crew.

• Inspect work to ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and company quality expectations.

• Resolve technical issues and ensure proper installation methods are followed.

• Enforce safety procedures and conduct regular safety meetings and on-site training.

• Ensure team members use appropriate PPE and adhere to OSHA regulations.

• Address and document safety concerns or violations immediately.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including daily logs and progress reports.

• Communicate project status and issues to management regularly.

Requirements/Skills: 

• Proven experience in commercial electrical work and team supervision.

• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and manage crews.

• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and electrical schematics.

• Proficiency with basic project tracking and reporting tools.

• Willingness to work in physically demanding and outdoor conditions.

Physical Requirements: 

• Ability to stand, walk, and work in various weather conditions.

• Capable of lifting 50+ lbs and working at heights or in confined spaces as required.

Education: 

• High School Diploma or GED
