Commercial HVAC Technician
Overview:
Metairie, LA: Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Commercial Service HVAC Technician to join our team. This is a full-time opportunity offering an hourly income between $25.00 and $36.00 based on skills and experience. Essential Duties:
• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial HVAC systems.
• Drive a company vehicle to various job sites throughout southeast Louisiana.
• Create and manage work tickets and timesheets using ServiceTrade software.
• Deliver superior customer service and maintain positive client relationships.
• Comply with safety and quality standards on all job sites.
• Collaborate with team members to build and maintain healthier community environments.
• Follow company policies and maintain a clean driving record and background for site access.
Requirements/Skills:
• 5+ years of experience in the HVAC/R field (preferred).
• Work experience in the commercial construction industry.
• Possession of mechanical license, gas license, chiller certification, and/or boiler certification (preferred).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Technologically proficient; able to manage service tickets, timesheets, and communication via ServiceTrade.
• Must have a current and valid state driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Ability to pass pre-employment criminal, driving, and drug screenings.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Frequent standing, bending, reaching, and climbing ladders.
• Comfortable working in varying temperatures and outdoor conditions.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work for 8-hour shifts.
